A general meeting is expected to take two hours and is <br />scheduled for Wednesday, April 2, 1980 at 9:00 a.m. at the Administration <br />Building. <br /> <br />One purpose of the review is to provide assistance regarding the various <br />aspects of the NFIP. It is, therefore, requested that various community <br />representatives including elected officials, administrators, engineers, <br />planners, building inspectors and others responsible for administering <br />the community's Floodplain Management Program be encouraged to attend <br />the general meeting. <br /> <br />The agenda of the general meeting is to address the following topics: <br /> <br />1. An overview of the NFIP. <br /> <br />2. A review of the community's Floodplain Damage Management <br />Ordinance. (It is requested that a sufficient number <br />of copies of the community's FPM Ordinance be available.) <br /> <br />3. A discussion of the Administrative Procedures for enforcing <br />the Ordinance. <br /> <br />4. Principal issues of concern to the community. <br /> <br />Additional activities of the day will include reviewing the community's <br />floodplain development permit records, conducting a field reconnaissance <br />of floodplain developments and meeting with representatives of local <br />lending institutions and insurance agencies. Therefore, it is requested <br />that access be provided to the community's records and that a staff <br />member be available to assist in these activities. <br /> <br />Thank you for your involvement in this aspect of the National Flood <br />
