The report documents the masterplanning process from
project initiation through preparation of the conceptual design report. Included in the report is
a description of the study watershed, a synopsis of the hydrologic and hydraulic analysis,
identification of the problem areas, and conceptual design of the plan selected by the project
sponsors.

The problems along the drainageways generally consist of channel erosion, and inadequate
channel and culvert capacity. The selected plan includes $9,677,850 for channel stabilization,
$1,673,000 for channel improvements, $1,735,500 for culvert improvements and $754,000 for
regional detention. Including easement acquisition, and allowances for contingencies,
engineering services, construction inspection and legal/administrative services the total
estimated cost of the improvements is $27,346,000,

Thank you to the staff from Urban Drainage and Flood Control District, Jefferson County and
the City of Littleton for their contributions to project.

t(a/JY7
Z-'/(), pu

Sincerely,

t)P.J~fB ~

-I
"
I
\

Bruce J.
