Stream Reach Description

From a point approximately 1500 feet downstream of the
downstream limit of the Corps left bank levee, approxi-
mately 6900 feet east of the State Highway 89 bridge
across the Arkansas River, upstream to the downstream
limit of the Corps left bank levee, approximately 5400
feet east of the State Highway 89 bridge across the
Arkansas River.

From its confluence with the relocated channel of Wild
Horse Creek, approximately 4000 feet west of the State
Highway 89 bridge across the Arkansas River, upstream
approximately 5000 feet, approximately 9000 feet west
of the State Highway 89 bridge across the Arkansas
River.

From the downstream limit of the Corps right bank levee,
at a point approximately 1 mile east of the eastern cor-
porate limit of the City of Las Animas, along the A.T. &
S.F. Railroad and near the confluence of the Arkansas
River and the Purgatoire River, upstream to the upstream
limit of the Corps right hank levee, at the intake struc-
ture for the Consolidated Ditch near the A.T. & S.F. Rail-
road, approximately 5.3 miles west of the western corporate
limit of the City of Las Animas.

From its confluence with the Arkansas River upstream to a
point just upstream of the U.S. Highway 385 bridge over the
Corps floodway channel.

From a point just downstream of the A.T. & S.F. bridge over
the Corps floodway channel upstream to the upstream limit
of the Corps right bank levee, approximately 1900 feet south
of the U.S. Highway 50 bridge over the Corps floodway channel.
