Wolf Creek, a south bank tributary. flows along the <br />west side of the Town. The stream reach of Wolf Creek <br />causing flooding extends from Its confluence with the <br />Arkansas River 2.5 miles upstream to a point one half <br />mile west of the Town of Granada (near the U.S. Highway 50 <br />bridge west of the Town of Granada). <br /> <br />April 1974 <br /> <br />Flood hazard areas are described that adjoin the <br />Arkansas River and its tributaries from Great <br />Bend, Kansas, to John Martin Dam, Colorado. <br /> <br />COE <br /> <br />June 1974 <br /> <br />The Town of Holly lies on the north bank of the Arkansas COE <br />River at the confluence of Wild Horse Creek, a north bank <br />tributary, Two Butte Creek, a south bank tributary, and the <br />Arkansas River. Wild Horse Creek originally flowed through <br />the Town causing flooding. After 1951 local interests diverted <br />the Creek to the west side of the Town.
