Agenda Item #3, Board Meeting, January 14, <br />1970. <br /> <br />As a part of the continuing program of this Board in <br /> <br />cooperation with the united States cor.ps of Engineers initiated <br /> <br />after the floods of 1965, the Corps of Engineers has recently com- <br /> <br />p1eted Flood Plain Information Reports on the North Fork of the <br /> <br />Republican River at Wray, Colorado: on the Rio Grande aiver at <br /> <br />Monte Vista, Colorado: and on Goodnight l~royo, Dry Creek and Wild <br /> <br />Horse-Dry Creek in the vicinity of Pueblo, Colorado. <br /> <br />In each case local authorities have requested that this <br /> <br />Board make the necessary flood channel designation as provided in <br /> <br />149-1-11(4) Colorado Revised Statutes, 1963, as amended. The <br /> <br />necessary resolutions to accomplish these designations have been <br /> <br />prepared and copies are enclosed herewith.
