<br />,.~, <br /> <br />.~ <br /> <br /> <br />May 1969 - Three days of heavy snow and rain along with spring runoff <br />caused a flood which damaged houses and businesses in Jamestown and caused <br />major erosion damage to roads and bridges along James Creek. A spot peak <br />discharge measurement of 1970 c.f.s. was made by the U.S. Geological Sur- <br />vey at a point just upstream of the mouth of James Creek.
