Discharges f or the area

below James Creck were determined by the calibrated 6-hour rainfall SWMM

model. A I-hour rainfall was used for the smaller drainage area of

.
Lefthand Creek near .ard. 'By trial and error, it was found that the

l-hour storm producej the highest discharges on Lefthand Creek from

near Ward to upstrean of Spring Gulch. . From Spring Gulch to upstream

of James Creek, a 3-1our storm was used to link the l-hour and 6-hour

reaches together. T1e resulting 10-, 50-, 100-, and 500-year discharges

are presented ~n Table 3 and are shown on attachment 5 as disch~rge'

profiles. Application of l-hour rainfall to the 19 square mile James

Creek model provided the discharges that are presented in Table 4.

discharge profile is shown on attachment 6.

5

A

','

t.......,...,...
i:i2
v.:;--"-
~

:~.;,~,

.)

~)
.,

~F:

.";.~....,,

~

I_n' "
~>;;"'>'

<." -,..,

;;,,;...~.! .
,~:.~ ", .
