The proposed berm
presents some associated problems such as cross site
drainage, narrowing the natural flood plain and increasing
the velocity, erosion of the berm and ice jamming, and
possible distruction of the berm.

These are all concerns that need answers in detail. A
revised flood plain evaluation of this area is underway
and should give needed information.,

A detailed engineering evaluation and
before any recommendation can be made.
the construction and rip rapping of the
necessary.

plan is necessary
Deta il s on
berm is also

We recommend that this proposed project be presented to
Larry Lane of the Water Conservation Board staff for
evaluation.

Sincerely,

.

L.
