CO\IDty of Alamosa, State uf Colorado. hereinafter called 'ICon tractor. l' WITHNESSETIl: That for and in consideration of the payments and agreements hereinafter mentioned, to be made and pe"fonned by the O~'NERS, the CONTRACTOR hereby agrees with the Ow-.'ERS to cornnence and cc:rnplete the construction described as follws: Rio Grande Levee Improvements, Phase I hereinafter called the project, for the sum of seven hcmdred thirty two thousand nine hcmdred seventy five dollars and fifty cents ($732,975.50) and all extra work in cormection d1.ereW"ith, under the terms as stated in the General and Supplemental Conditions of the Contract: and at its = proper cost and expense to furnish all materials, supplies, rrachinery, equipment, tools, superintcclence, labor, insurance I"1d other accessories and services necessary to complete the said project in accordance with the conditions and prices stated in the Proi )5a1, the General Conditions, and Supplemental General Conditions of the Contract, the plans which include all maps, plats, blue prints, and other drawings and printed or written explanatory matter thereof, the specifications and contract documents the"efor as prepared by ~:tJLLER rn~Th'EERING INC., herein entitled the Enginee". and as enumerated in Paragraph 1 of the Supplemental General Conditions, all of which are made a part hereof and collectively evidence and constitute the Contract. The Contractor hereby agrees to c.:mnence work under this contract on or before a date to be specified i.n a writter.. ''Notice to Proceed" of the Owners and to fully complete the project within 90 consecutive calendar days thereafter. The Contractor futher agrees to pay, as liquidated damages, the sum of $ 300.00 for each cons~cl1ti ve oalendar day thereafter as hereinafter provided in Paragraph 19 of the Geneml Conditions. ~ The OWNERS agrees to pay the COiITRACTOR in current funds for the perforrrance of the contract, subject to additions and deductions, as provided in the General Conditions of the Contract, and to make payments on aCCOtIDt thereof as prmd.ded in ParaE,.raph 25, ''Payment to Contractor. 11 or the General Conditions.
