INVITATION TO BID SUBSURFACE DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS CROOK COLORADO Sealed bids for the Subsurface Drainage Improvements project will be received by the Town of Crook, P,O. Box 158, Crook, Colorado 80726 until 1:00 p.m., local time, May 13 , 1992, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Crook Municipal Building. The work involves construction of about 4,000 feet of 12-inch plastic pipe, furnishing and installing pump equipment. Contract Documents and Specifications may be obtained at the office of Kiowa Engineering Corporation, 1776 S. Jackson Street, Suite 1001, Denver, Colorado; and the Town of Crook, Colorado. There will be a nonrefundable charge of $25.00 per set for the Drawings and Specifications for the project. A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 1:00 p.m. on May 6 , 1992, at the Crook Municipal Building, Crook, Colorado, to answer prospective BIDDER'S questions. Attendance is not mandatory but strongly encouraged. The successful BIDDER will be required to furnish Payment and Performance Bonds and comply with the insurance provision as specified by the Contract Documents, A five percent (5%) Bid Bond will be required. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set fonh in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project, and that the CONTRAcrOR must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. The Town of Crook reserves the right to waive any irregularities or to waive any technical defects in the bidding process as the best interest of the Town may be served.
