Revised detailed 100-yr floodplains have not been clearly shown, floodplain extends off <br />of mapping at Main Street 500-year floodplains have not been identified. <br />c. Revised Floodway boundaries have not been identified. <br />d. Cross-section ID on As-Built drawings do not clearly correlate with HEC-2 stationing, <br />please clarify. <br />f. Current Community Boundaries. City & County Limits at Main Street, please indicate <br />boundary on Workmap and Profile. <br />g. Effective 100-year floodway boundary has not been identified. <br />h. Tie-ins between effective and revised 500-year floodplain and 100-year floodway <br />boundaries have not been identified <br /> <br />5. The CD enclosed with your submittal includes multiple and duplicate HEC-2 model files. Please <br />resubmit a disk with only files pertinent to this review so it is clear which files are used for the <br />analysis. Additionally, please include input and output files for. the duplicate effective model. <br />File XAC does not correlate with the duplicate effective floodplain or floodway models submitted, <br />as stated on the fonns. Please include a text file identifying the file purpose with a file name (i.e., <br />Duplicate Effective XAC). <br /> <br />6. The hydraulic models included in this submittal are very confusing and it is not clear as to what <br />has been included in the submittal and what is missing. Please resubmit the following clearly <br />identified models: <br /> <br />. Duplicate Effective Multiple Profile (10-, 50-, 100-, 500-year) and 100-year Floodway <br />runs reproduced electronically on MartinlMartin computers. <br />. Corrected Effective Multiple Profile (10-, 50-, 100-, 500-year), incorporating existing <br />(before construction) topography and the additional cross-section used for the proposed <br />conditions model, tying-in to the Duplicate Effective model upstream and downstream. <br />. Revised (As-Built) conditions Multiple Profile (10-,50-, 100-, 500-year) and 100-year <br />Floodway models tying-in to the Corrected Effective model upstream and downstream. <br />The Revised (As-Built) conditions modesl should only reflect the Phase I improvements. <br /> <br />7. Floodway model surcharges must not exceed LOO foot. <br /> <br />8. Levees appear to have been constructed with this project on both sides of the channel upstream of <br />Main Street Please submit Fonn 8 entitled "Levee/Floodwall" along with all of the required <br />supporting infonnation specified under Section 65.10 of the National Flood Insurance Program <br />and Related Regulations. <br /> <br />9. Submit a copy of a public notice distributed by the community stating its intent to revise the <br />regulatory floodway, or a statement by the community that it has notified all affected property <br />owners. <br /> <br />10. A letter stating that the community will adopt and enforce the modified regulatory floodway. <br /> <br />Ifall required items are not submitted within 90 days of the date of this letter, FEMA will treat any <br />subsequent request as an original submittal, and it will be subject to all submittal/payment procedures. <br />If you are unable to meet the 90-day deadline for submittal of required items, and would like us to <br />continue processing your request, you must request an extension of the deadline.
