'~'l' <br /> <br />, ~ . <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Lang: <br /> <br />In accordance with Section 37- 6 0-:), 0 6 (1) (c) CRS, the Town of Parker, <br />Colorado, hereby requests designation and approval of the following storm <br />or floodwater runoff channels or basins as described in the report <br />entitled, Flood Insurance Study, Town of Parker, Colorado, Douglas County, <br />prepared by Federal Emergency Management Agency, September 30, 1987. <br /> <br />1. Cherry Creek flowing northerly from the southern corporate <br />boundary to the northern corporate boundary, a total distance in <br />Parker of 3.28 miles, a:, detailed floodplain information. <br />Unincorporated Douglas COunty intervenes along Cherry Creek <br />between the southern and nOrthern corporate boundaries. <br /> <br />2. Sulphur Gulch, flowing we~terly to its confluence with Cherry <br />Creek for 3.74 miles thr0ugh Parker, as detailed floodplain <br />information. Douglas County intervenes near the confluence. <br /> <br />3. Tallman Gulch, flowing northerly to its confluence with Sulphur <br />Gulch for 1.89 miles, as detailed floodplain information. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />Oak Gulch, flowing easterl~ to its <br />for approximately 1.90 miles, <br />information. <br /> <br />confluence with Cherry Creek <br />as approximate floodplain <br /> <br />5. Jordan Road Tributary, where it touches the corporate boundary <br />for 0.06 miles, 0.70 miles above Newlin GUlch, which is a <br />tributary of Cherry Creek, as approximate floodplain information. <br /> <br />6.
