There is almost no other
way to provide as much consistent, factual, and credible information in a single format,
The City of Fort Collins, Colorado's 1998 Project Impact Community, is planning to produce ten
20-minute videos covering a wide range of community hazards, These will be available to other
Project Impact communities across the nation, Each video will follow a consistent format and
will use sound educational methodology, ensuring maximum impact at all age and maturity
levels, The format will include both occurrences that lead up to the event and how to better
prepare for the event by using current mitigation methods, The local theater in Fort Morgan has
expressed interest in Project Impact and will volunteer time and equipment to show the all-
hazards videos to audiences during specified times of the year, Additionally, Morgan County
Community College has partnered with Project Impact and will run specified videos on its local
educational cable channel.

Benefits:
To develop a network to disseminate hazard awareness and preparedness information to a
targeted group, We will see a reduction by approximately 60% by awareness,

Project Actions Include:

.
