<br />B. Project Title: Providing Public Information and Education <br /> <br />B(I). Project Impact Web Site <br /> <br />Project Description: <br /> <br />Morgan County currently does not have a web site, With the development of a web site for <br />Project Impact, the site will furnish citizens with accurate and thorough information on a wide <br />range of subjects, The main focus will be Mitigation, Education! A warenessIPlanning, and <br />Response, In addition, the site will serve as the primary means for other communities to obtain <br />updates, success stories, and lessons learned through Project Impact, The web site will be <br />administered by the Morgan County Office of Emergency Management, and managed by the <br />students of Fort Morgan Middle School. <br /> <br />The web site menu will include mitigation considerations for each of the following events: <br />Riverine and Sheet Flooding, Tornadoes, Prairie Fires, Hazardous Materials, Severe Weather <br />Events, and Dam Failures, <br /> <br />Benefits: The web site will increase the communities awareness, and can be measurable by the <br />number of inquires to questionnaires and completion to surveys, <br /> <br />Project Actions Include: <br /> <br />· Provide access to comprehensive mitigation information and education through this web <br />site and other links, <br />· Provide specific information on preparedness actions necessary during a disaster. <br />. Provide reporting information in reference to Project Impact, <br />.
