The Columbus or C type, y, by % by 12 <br />inches (for weights up to 150 pounds). <br />2. Heavy weight, % by % by 18 inches (for <br />200- and 300-pound weights). <br />3. Heavy weight, y, by I}, by 18 inches (for <br />200- and 300-pound sounding weights <br />which have the slots properly extended to <br />llccommodate a I}>-in. hanger). <br /> <br />The Columbus hanger has three holes in it in <br />order to properly position the meter. The <br />hanger screw of the current-meter yoke is <br />placed through the bottom hole to support the <br />meter when a 30-pound sounding weight is <br />used. The center of the meter cups is then 0.5 <br />foot above the bottom of the weight. Tlie hanger screw goes through the <br />upper hole when 50-, 75-, 100-, and 150-pound <br />weights are used. The designations for these <br />arrangements llre 50 C .9, 75 C 1.0, 100 C 1.0, <br />llnd 150 C 1.0. Each of the two heavy-weight <br />hangers has only one hole for the hanger screw <br />of the meter. The designations for these <br />arrangements are 200 C 1.5 and 300 C 1.5. <br />
