OCTI~~17 i; <br />~CO " <br />lQ, WA <br />CONSER TER <br />DIS,RICT VAT/ON BOARD <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO.~, SERIES OF 1971 <br />(Acceptance of Flood Hazard Area Deline~tion <br />of Weir Gulch Tributaries) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board has previously authorized the Executive Director <br /> <br />to execute an agreement with a consulting engineer for the completion of a <br /> <br />Flood Hazard Area Delineation Report for two tributaries to Weir Gulch <br /> <br /> <br />(ReSOlution No.7, Series of 1976); . and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Executive Director has executed a contract with Centennial <br /> <br />Engineering, Inc. for a Flood Hazard Area Delineation Study of the Weir <br />Gulch Tributaries; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board has previously indicated its desire that the results <br /> <br />of such studies be provided to the local governments so as to assist local <br /> <br /> <br />governments in meeting the requirements of HB 1041; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: <br /> <br />1. The Board of D1rectors of the Urban Drainage and Flood Control <br /> <br />District accept the report (Flood Hazard Area Delineation, Weir <br /> <br />Gulch Tributaries, July 1977) and recommend its use as a guide <br /> <br /> <br />in future plannin9 related to these tributari~s; <br /> <br /> <br />2. The Board of Directors of the Urban Drainage &nd Flood Control <br /> <br /> <br />District recommend that the City of lakewood &nd the City and <br /> <br /> <br />County of Denver adopt the report and regulat~ the lOO-year <br /> <br />flood plain defined in the report; and <br /> <br />3. The Board of D1rectors of the Urban Drainage cmd Flood Control <br /> <br /> <br />District submit the report for designation an~ appproval by the <br /> <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board as stated in Section 37-60-106(1)(c), <br /> <br />Colorado Revised Statutes, 1973, as flood haz~rd areas, those areas <br /> <br />described <br /> <br />as bein9 inundated in the re~ <br /> <br />$d day of " ,d~d). <br /> <br />1977 . <br /> <br />DATED thi s <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />THE URBAN DRAINAGE AND <br />FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT <br /> <br />1(-' - <br />.
