Because this was an approximate study, <br />only the lOO-year frequency was considered. <br /> <br />The Costilla Creek gage was originally studied by TM-l and <br />was restudied by the CWCB. The Culebra Creek gage was <br />originally studied by the SCS and was restudied by the CWCB. <br />For those two gages points representing both the original <br />analyses and points representing the CWCB reanalyses were <br />plotted. A point representing the Trinchera Creek gage <br />analyzed by the CWCB was also plotted. <br /> <br />For all gages downstream of reservoirs the total drainage <br />area, including area tributary to those reservoirs, was <br />included for plotting of points. This was done regardless of <br />any exclusion of such area from calculations by other <br />agencies. This affected points for Trinchera Creek and Culebra <br />Creek. <br /> <br />After these points had been plotted, a regional curve was <br />drawn. The TM-l points, the SCS points. the CWCB points, and <br />the regional curve are all shown on Figure 5. On Table 7 the <br />IOO-year peak flows for various hydrologic points in Costilla <br />County are shown. <br /> <br />-27- <br />
