DESCRIPTION OF LOCATION
U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey standard disk stamped "A 143
1934" and set in top of a concrete post, located 2.1 miles west a-
long State Highway 90 from the county courthouse at Montrose,
180 feet west of the top of the grade, 120 feet north of the front
entrance to the W. H. Routh farmhouse in 1934,54 feet west of the
center of the arch over the gate to the front yard of the farmhouse,
30 feet south of the centerline of the highway, 3 feet west of a
telephone pole, and 2 feet north of the fence line.
U.S. Geological Survey standard disk stamped "5948 1909", located
3.2 miles southwest along State Highway 90 from the county court-
house at Montrose, 150 feet east of the intersection of Grande
View and Oak Grove Roads, 70 feet north of the northeast corner
of a fence, 45 feet west of the top of a terrace, 2 feet north of the
centerline of an irrigation ditch, and in the top of a large sandstone
boulder.
U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey standard disk stamped "5828.564
D 10 1926" and set in top of a concrete post projecting 6 inches
above ground, located 1.0 mile southeast along the Denver and Rio
Grande Western Railroad from the station at Montrose. 1/2 mile
north of milepost D-350, 450 feet south of the junction of the
Ouray Branch, 25 feet west of the Ouray Branch track, and 1 1/2
feet lower than the track.
