Summarv. <br /> <br />This study was prepared in response to a request by the <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board. It provides the state of <br />Colorado, Mesa County, the city of Grand Junction, and nearby <br />municipalities an inventory of levee systems on the Colorado <br />River from Palisade to Loma. In addition to the inventory of <br />levee improvements, a description of existing flood control <br />related studies in the Grand Valley area is included. .
