Jenkins <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />Cooperation and Acknowledgements <br /> <br />This report is the third of several that present the results <br />of flood studies made by the U. S. Geological Survey in cooperation <br />with the County of Boulder, Colorado. <br />The report was prepared under the direction of W. T. Miller, <br />district engineer, succeeded by E. J. Tripp, acting district engineer, <br />and J. W. odell, district engineer. John Hobbs assisted the author <br />in the first part of the field investigations and D. D. Harris assisted <br />in the latter part of the field investigations and in the computations. <br />The report was reviewed by H. F. Matthai, flood specialist, U. S. <br />Geological Survey in Denver, Colorado, and by the Floods Section of <br />the Branch of Surface Water in Washington, D. C. <br />The map used as a base ,for plate 2 is an enlargement to scale <br /> <br /> <br />1:6000, of combined parts of the Hygiene and Longmont 7~-minute, scale <br /> <br /> <br />1:24,000 Geological Survey topographic quadrangle maps compiled in <br /> <br /> <br />1950 and 1951.
