Sacramento District for the week of April 19-24. 1993. Afier a flood <br />threat analysis from local officials who responded to 1he March flood threal inquiry, the following <br />communities were visiled: <br /> <br />(jrand Junction <br />Mesa County <br />Oarfield Coun1y <br />Parachutc <br />Pitkin Coun1y <br />Durango <br /> <br />Della County <br />Gunnison Coun1y <br />Ouray <br />Paollia <br />San Juan Coun1y <br />Basalt <br /> <br />Delta <br />Clunnison <br />Ouray Counly <br />Silverlon <br />La Plata Coun1y <br /> <br />"Advanced Measures" were provided individually 10 each communi1y. Advanced measures can be <br />defined as actual "on-ground" aclivi1ics which are an attempt to reduce flood damages prior to a flooding <br />event.
