<br />t- <br /> <br />..!.' <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />THE URBAN DRAINAGE AND FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO, 61, SERIES OF 2003 <br />(Acceptance of Flood Hazard Area Delineation Report for Little Dry Creek (Arapco) and Tributaries) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board has previously established a Work Program for 2001 (Resolution No. 78, Series <br />of2000) which included master planning and the delineation of flood hazard areas; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board has previously authorized the Executive Director to expend funds from the <br />Flood Hazard Area Delineation budget for the completion of flood hazard area delineation studies (Resolution <br />No. 85, Series of 2000); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Executive Director has executed an agreement with WRC Engineering, Inc, for a master <br />planning and flood hazard area delineation study of Little Dry Creek (Arapco) and Tributaries in Arapahoe <br />County (Exhibit A); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a report "Flood Hazard Area Delineation for Little Dry Creek (Arapco) and Tributaries," <br />dated August 2003 has been completed by WRC Engineering, Inc,; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board has previously indicated its desire that the results of such studies be provided to <br />the local governments so as to assist such local governments in meeting the requirements ofHB 1041. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: <br />1. The Board of Directors of the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District accepts the report <br />"Flood Hazard Area Delineation for Little Dry Creek (Arapco) and Tributaries, " August 2003 <br />and recommends its use as a guide in future planning related to the floodplains contained therein. <br />2, The Board of Directors of the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District recommends that <br />Arapahoe County, Greenwood Villag'7aM-Cherry Hills Villag~~opt the ~ep~ and regul~te the <br />100,year floodplains defmed in the report. .A IUD NT ",I' CN"re>liJ A '- <br />3.
