No.3) <br />for Grange Hall Creek; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the approximate floodplain delineations contained in said report with included <br />map are consistent with the detailed floodplain delineations contained in Resolution No. 150 (Table <br />1, Ref. No.5) for Direct Flow Area 0054; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the approximate floodplain delineations contained in said report with included <br />map are not consistent with the detailed floodplain delineations contained in Resolution No. 32 <br />(Table I, Ref. No.2) for Niver Creek; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the approximate floodplain delineations contained in said report with included <br />map are consistent with the detailed floodplain delineations contained in Resolution No. 23 (Table <br />I, Ref. No.1) for Dry Creek; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the approximate and detailed floodplain delineations contained in said report <br />with included map were prepared and published prior to the publication of the floodplain <br />information contained in Resolution Nos. 213, 271, and the undesignated countywide Frs for <br />Adams County, (Table I, Ref. Nos. 7 through 9); and <br /> <br />CoR.S AUTHORITY <br />WHEREAS, Section 37-60-106(1)(c), Colorado Revised Statutes, requires the Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board to assist in the prevention of floods and flood danlages therefrom; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Sections 31-23-301 and 30-28-111, Colorado Revised Statutes, provide that <br />legislative bodies of local jurisdictions may provide zoning regulations for land uses on or along <br />any storm or floodwater runoff channel or basin only after designation and approval by the <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 37-60-106(1)(c), Colorado Revised Statutes, directs the Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board to designate and approve storm or floodwater runoff channels or basins <br />and to make such designations available to legislative bodies of local jurisdictions; and <br /> <br />COMPLIANCE WITH CWCB TECHNICAL STANDARDS <br />WHEREAS, the corporate limits of the City of Thomton in said report with included map <br />dated January 19, 1982 were accurate at the time of the study, but are not currently accurate due to <br />annexations that occurred following the completion of said report; and <br /> <br />3 <br />
