The Board of Directors of the
Urban Drainage and Flood Control District, at their October 17th
meeting, passed Resolution No. 46, Series of 1985 (copy enclosed)
adopting this report. We request that the Colorado Water Conservation
Board consider the 100-year floodplains described in this report for
designation as flood hazard areas. Englewood, Sheridan, Denver,
Commerce City and Adams County will be responsible for regulating the
floodplains. Please note that this study supercedes the previous study
"Flood Hazard Area Delineation, South Platte River, Adams County" for
the reach from I-270 to Franklin Street (Stations 956+00 to 1069+00 in
both studies).

We will be happy to make a presentation to your Board, if you so
desire. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

j~

L.
