<br />McLaughlin Water Engineers, Ltd. (MWE) is a
<br />civil and environmental engineering firm which
<br />specializes in the supply, treatment, and
<br />distribution of water and the collection, treatment,
<br />reuse, and disposal of wastewater,

<br />MWE offers comprehensive engineering and
<br />project management services, from conceptual
<br />planning and computer modeling to final design,
<br />construction, and operations assistance. With
<br />over three decades of experience, MWE has an
<br />extensive background in: water and wastewater
<br />master planning, stormwater management
<br />planning, flood control design, pump station
<br />design, water quality management, environmental
<br />assessments, mine drainage treatment and runoff
<br />control, assistance with regulatory compiiance,
<br />operations services, facility design and
<br />construction management, rate and financial
<br />studies, water rights, expert testimony before
<br />courts and regulatory bodies, and other general
<br />water and wastewater consulting services,

<br />services in the general civil engineering fields of
<br />surveying, site grading and earthwork

<br />been in business since 1964. A branch office is
<br />located in Aspen, Colorado. We have a total staff
<br />of 62, with 35 civil and environmental engineers,
<br />Our project managers have an average of 17
<br />years practical experience. More than 1/3 of the
<br />individuals on our engineering staff have post-
<br />graduate degrees in related fields such as
<br />hydraulics, geology, civil, and sanitary
<br />engineering, In addition, we have seven full-time
<br />resident engineers/inspectors who are available,
<br />should unusual construction difficulties arise,

<br />brought many additional assets to MWE in the
<br />form of common systems and shared resources,

<br />McLaughlin Wate-r Engineers, Ud, has
<br />represented municipalities and Special Districts in
<br />Colorado since 1964. Many of our personnel
<br />have had extensive experience in project design
<br />and with review processes from the conceptual
<br />phase through final construction, We review
<br />water and sewer utility plans and designs, and
<br />have reviewed projects as small as single utility
<br />line extensions to large annexations requiring
<br />various levels of master planning, We are
<br />experienced in assessing and coordinating these
<br />requirements and are able to work out negotiated
<br />solutions, where warranted, without
<br />compromising clients' interests.

<br />McLaughlin Water Engineers has worked for
<br />many special districts, some continuously for 35
<br />years, In this capacity we have been asked to
<br />review many other engineers' and developers'
<br />plans for correctness and conformance with the
<br />district's master plans. Some of the clients we
<br />have done this for on a continuing basis include:
<br />Superior Metropolitan District, South Suburban
<br />Park and Recreation District, City of Brighton,
<br />East Cherry Creek Valley, and Stapleton
