Design of four grouted boulder drol? structures to
reduce the steep gradient of river bottom and halt erosion.
Drop structures are also designed to enhance boalabilily and
aquatic habitat.

As subconsultant to Civi, tas in the area of river analysis,

completed hydraulic analysis to define the IOO-year

floodplain at the park site. Both sections of the park are linked

by a looping pedestri,m trail featming two gently curving

pedestrian bridges that span the river. Worked to contour the

upper banks of the river in order to compensate for the

hydraulic impact of these bridges.

Statewide inventory of stream rehabilitation and flood
protection needs in Colorado. Developed, distributed and
evaluated survey que,,<;tionnaires for over 400 communities
and organizations throughout the state. Compiled results into
a database model that was used to recommend a funding
program and other measures for multi-objective flood
protection and rehabilitation along Colorados stream
conidors.
