Ltd. <br /> <br />Design and construction of a 57-acre-foot on-stream detention <br />facility on Piney Creek RB-5 Tributary. The multi-use facility <br />will have soccer and softball fields, a maintenance/pedestrian <br />path, low-flow channels and IOO-year-flow grass-lined innow <br />channel with grouted boulder drop structures, and baffled <br />outlet structure for double 72-inch storm sewers. WilliameUe <br />Avenue Regional Storrnwater Storage Facility <br /> <br />Design of 70 acre-feet of on-stream detention on West Toll <br />Gate Creek. Soccer and softball fields, <br />mainlenancelpedestrian path, low-flow channel, and grouted <br />rock drop structure will be constructed as part of this multi- <br />use recreation and flood control facilily. <br /> <br />Preparation of construction drawings for a reinforced concrete <br />ramp and landing to allow maintenance access for pond silt <br />removal. Improvements included stabilization of the channel <br />adjacent to the access ramp using grouted boulders, buried <br />riprap, and two drop structures. <br /> <br />Design and construction of channel improvements that <br />involved relocating 1,400 I.f. of Lena Gulch drainageway 10 a <br />gra%-lined, IOO-year capacity channel adjacent to office park <br />development. Channel features induded wetlands mitigation <br />and riparian habitat area; soft-bottom and hard-bottom <br />boulder-edged trickle channels; grouted boulder drop <br />structures; and concrete retaining walls in areas of restricted <br />ROW. <br /> <br />Preliminary and final design of channel improvements, <br />through a restricted residential area, that included channel <br />enlargement for IO-Yl~ar flood capacity, bank stabi\i7Altion, <br />timber retaining walls, preservation of trees and vegetation, <br />and maintenance access. <br /> <br />Drainage master planning and preliminary design of <br />recommended improvements for 12.5 miles of tile main stem <br />of Clear Creek above thl~ South Platte River. The plan <br />combined floodplain pre:servation and regulation with limited <br />roadway, railroad crossing, and channel improvements. <br /> <br />Design of 2.3 miles of flood control channel, through a fully <br />developed residential community, to convey the lOO-year <br />flood. Improvements in;;luded a non+inigated, grass-lined <br />channel. boulder-edged low-flow channel, vertical concrete <br />walls in selected reache$, rock riprap, drop structures, culvert <br />crossings of roadways, preservation of natural areas in <br />selected reaches, utility Irelocations, and a maintenance trail. <br /> <br />Delineation of the lOO-year floodplain for future conditions in <br />certain drainage basins. <br /> <br />Preliminary design of flow separation structures on SJCD <br />drainageways to minimize the volume and rate of storm water <br />runoff into the Last Chance and Nevada agricultural ditches. <br />
