<br />"- -... <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the information in said new report relating to the portion of Buzzard . ... <br />Creek upstream of a point approximately 1900 feet its confluence with Plateau Creek, the _ <br />Dolores River, the portion of Grove Creek upstream of a point approximately 3700 feet <br />upstream of its confluence with Plateau Creek, Mesa Creek, Tate Creek, and the portion <br />of West Creek delineated by approximate methods does not meet all of the requirements <br />for approximate floodplain information listed under the Board's "Rules and Regulations for <br />the Designation and Approval of FloodplaiJls and of Storm or Floodwater Runoff Channels <br />in Colorado" (2 CCR 408-1); <br /> <br />NOW, lHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board in regular meeting assembled in Grand Junction, Colorado, this 15th day of <br />September, 1992, that it does hereby designate and approve as detailed floodplain <br />information the 100-year floodplains as described by the floodwater surface elevations and <br />profiles in said new report, dated July 15, 1992, for the study reaches of Big Salt Wash, the <br />Colorado River, Horizon Drive Channel, and Little Salt Wash and does hereby rescind <br />those portions of Resolution No. 78, dated September 23, 1977 regarding Big Salt Wash, the <br />Colorado River, and Little Salt Wash, those portions of Resolution No. 79, dated September <br />23, 1977 regarding the Colorado River and Horizon Drive Channel, and Resolution No. 80, <br />dated September 23, 1977, only for portions of Mesa County that were unincorporated on <br />July 15, 1992, as presented in the three November 1976 reports; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Board is directed to send e <br />a certified copy of this resolution to the Board of County Commissioners of Mesa County; <br />the Town of Collbran; the Town of DeBeque; the City of Fruita; the City of Grand <br />Junction; the Town of Palisade; the Colorado Office of Emergency Management; the U.S. <br />Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District; the U.S Department of Agriculture, Soil <br />Conservation Service; and the Federal Emergency Management Agency. <br /> <br />CERTIFICATE <br /> <br />I certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution adopted by a <br />majority vote of the members of the Colorado Water Conservation Board in regular session <br />assembled at Grand Junction, Colorado, on the 15th day of September, 1992, at which a <br />quorum was present. <br /> <br />~"~t <br /> <br />D 'es C.
