<br />Pit during several public ht:uings last fall.
<br />As a resull, befort the county high impacl
<br />permit WlU issued, anumberof CClil1iClioos
<br />were placed on th~ pit. The permit was
<br />issued contingent on several factors,
<br />including Four Slates Agg~ga(es obl"in-
<br />ing 1111 other pcrmiu, (rom the federal [0
<br />thelocallcvel.
<br />Restriclions include hours (8 a.m. to 5
<br />p_m.) and d:lYs (Morlday through Friday)
<br />of operation, and months (late December
<br />info March) that a crushtt may be u-.cd.
<br />The company is re~ponsibJe for building
<br />berms and landscaping them prior to ami
<br />dllring construction. The Commissioners
<br />
<br />resuiclt:d operation of tile pit to five years,
<br />and required a S I 0,000 bond for reclama-
<br />tion.
<br />In addition, Four Slates Aggregates,
<br />Inc., tllC applicant, is re~poflsible for coo.

<br />and dust are kept 10 a minimum during
<br />o?CIJ.ling hours. The Commissioners have

<br />of those who were interested in being on
