The sponsors of this study included Adams County,
Arapahoe County, and the City of Aurora.

Although the Flood Hazard Area Delineation will not immediately amend the present
effective Flood Insurance Rate Map, we request that the FHAD be recognized as Best
Available Information and be used as the basis for floodplain management decisions by
Aurora and other jurisdictions.

We ask that designation action be considered by the C.W.C,B. and we also ask that you
provide us aletter documenting approval of the FHAD and Outfall Study.

If you have any questions regarding this submittal, please contact Ronald Degenhart of
my staff at 695,7300.
