Army corps of Engineers, Omaha District, has completed for the City of Aurora, Special Flood Plain Information Report, Upper Toll Gate Creek and Tributaries, Aurora, Colorado, dated June 1973; and WHEREAS, said Flood Plain Information Report outlines and describes the flood water runoff channels within the above described areas; and WHEREAS, Article 149-1-11(4), Colorado Revised Statutes 1963, requires that the Colorado Water Conservation Board designate and approve storm or flood water runoff channels and to make such designations available to legislative bodies of local jurisdictions; and WHEREAS, Article 139-60-1, Colorado Revised Statutes 1963, provides that such cities, towns, incorporated areas and local jurisdictions may provide zoning regulations for any storm or flood water runoff channel only after designation and approval by the Colorado Water Conservation Board; and WHEREAS, the City of Aurora has requested the Colorado Water Conservation Board to designate and approve the flood hazard areas as set forth in the aforesaid U. S. Army Corps of Engineers Flood Plain Information Report; and WHEREAS, the staff of the Board has reviewed said Flood Plain Information Report and does hereby recommend to the Colorado Water Conservation Board that said Board designate and approve as flood hazard areas those areas set forth in the report as being - - -suoj ecf-fo-an-nrEermeai:a:t-e- regiona-l---rroo-ctr-------- ---- NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water Con- servation Board in regular meeting assembled in Denver, Colorado, this 31st day of October, 1973, that it does hereby designate and
