Clayton St., 1,700 it upstream from mouth, and 1 mile east of Littleton. <br />DRAINAGE AREA.--I sq mi, approximately. <br />PERIOD OF RECQRD,--June 19, 1969 to current year (no winter records). <br />GAGE.--Flood-hydrograph and rainfall recorders (dual digitals). <br />STAGE-DISCHARGE RELATION.--Rating developed on basis of step-backwater analysis of reach of natural stream <br />channel, slope-area measurements at gage heights 12.38 it and 13.65 ft, and current meter measurement at <br />gage height 11.16 ft. <br /> <br />EXTREMES.--Water year 19691 Maximum discharge, 185 cfs probably occurred on Juna 8 (gage height, 12.38 ft, <br />from floodroarksl; no flow most of yaar. <br />Water year 1970: Maximum discharge, 153 cfs July 23 (gage height, 12.11 ft)J no flow most of year. <br />Water year 1971, Maximum diSCharge, 479 cfs Aug. 30 (gage height, 13.65 ft, from floodroarks); no flow <br />most of year. <br />REMARKS.--Detailed rainfall-runoff data for the events of July 23, 1970 and Aug. 30, 1971 not provided because <br />of recorder malfunctions.
