Paon.i a <br /> <br />Damages sustained from the heavy runoff from the North Fork of the <br />Gunnison River include 2 broken waterlines under the Gunnison River, one <br />located near the 3rd Street County Bridge and the other near State Highway <br />187 Bridge,Paonia sewer plant lost ground to the northwest due to bank <br />erosion whic~ endangered a polishing pond, and a major sewer line was <br />threatened by bank erosion in several places. Temporary emergency <br />measures taken include installation of rip rapping on sewer plant and <br />installation ofa temporary flexible line on waterline near S.H. 187 <br />Bridge to allow service to Paonia High School.
