Accordingly, Ihc forms discusscd in the following paragraph will be utilizcd by Ihe Corps of
Engineers in future subnlissions of unit hydrograph data to this OffiCl\ ill lieu of Lhose suggestpel in Bulletin
], cited above.

4. SUBMISSION OF DATA BY CORPS OF ENGINEERS OFFICES. Following are eommenls
regarding forms to be used by Division and Dislrict Offices in future submissions of unit hydrograph
compilations:
a. E1\'G Form 1821 (Plate 1\'0. 17, Sheet 1 of 3). The pertincnt data sheet (E1\'G Form 1821)
llsed to present the accumulation of unit hydrograph determinations in Part II, C~"'-]5;3, includes
addilional information and is larger than the form recommended by Ihe Subcommittec on Hydrology
in Bnlletin 1\'0. I, page 3. However, the additional data arc principally those already required by the
Chief of Enginf'ers and the sheet can be readily folded t.o 8" x ]0%" size. ConsequrntlYl future
pertinenl dala summaries should bc prescnted on El\'G Form 1821 (formerly CWH Form 1). Parlicular
effort should be made to include area-elevalion eurves, area-distance eurves1 and stream profiles.
b. E:\G Form 1822 (Plalc 1\'0. 18, Sheet 1 of 3). Slwet ;.10. 1 of the basic data sheets, as nsed in
Part II of CW-153 (E;.IG Form 1822) to show graphically the data for individual unit, hydrograph
determinations, is essentially the same as that. r(-'("ommf'ndPfI by the Subcommittee on Hydrolog,Y in
Bulletin .\'0. 1. Use of EKG Form 1822 (formerly CWH Form 2) will be continued by field offices in
submission of unit hydrograph data,
c. EKG Form 1823 (Plate Ko. 18, Sheet 2 of 3). Shcd Xu. 2 of the basic data sheets cov<'ring
Ihe unit hydrograph dcrivations in labular forti} has nol I",e" J'('produccd in Part II of CW-I,;:3,
However, the tabulation is still an important part of th{' hasie data prf':;wntation and fipld offteps should
continue its submission. TIte form in present use conforms with the sampl{' distributNI with Bullf'tin
No. I, Snbcommittee on Hydrology (page 6) modificd to inelude values of W-!)O and W-75 as detined
in paragraph 20 of Ibis manual. Thc sheet is identified as EXG Form 182:3.
d. Paper Iransparcncies of EXG Forms 1821, 1822, and 182:l should be requisitioned for tield use
from the Chi(.f of Engineers.
e.
