When work is <br />performed under the terms of subparagraph 17(c) of the General <br />Conditions, the Contractor shall furnish satisfactory bills, payrolls <br />and voucl'ers coveri ng all i terns of cost and' when requested by th!' <br />Owner, give access to accounts relating thereto. <br /> <br />Right of the Owner to Terminate Contract <br /> <br />In the event that any of the provisions of this Contract are violated <br />by the Contractor, or by any of his subcontractors, the Owner may <br />serve written notice upon the Contractor and the Surety of its inten- <br />tion to terminate the Contract, such notices to contain the reason <br />for such intention to termi nate the Contract, and unl ess withi n (l 0) <br />days after the serving of such notice upon the Contractor, such <br />vi 01 ati on or del ay shall cease and sati sfactory arrangement of cor- <br />rection be made, the Contract shall, upon the expiration of said ten <br />(10) days, cease and terminate. In the event of any such termina- <br />tion, the Owner shall immediately serve notice thereof upon the <br />Surety and the Contractor and the Surety shall have the right to take <br />over and perform the Contract; provided, however, that if the Surety <br />does not commence performance thereof wi thi n ten (l 0) days from the <br />date of the mail i ng to such Surety of Notice of Termi nation, the <br />Owner may take over the work and prosecute the same to completion by <br />the Contract or by force account for the account and at the expense <br />of the Contractor and the Contractor and hi s Surety shall be 1 i abl e <br />to the Owner for any excess cost occasioned the Owner thereby, and in <br />such event the Owner may take possession of and utilize in completing <br />the work, such material, appliances, and plant as may be on the site <br />of the work and necessary therefore. <br /> <br />Construction Schedule and Periodic Estimates <br /> <br />Immediately after execution and delivery of the Contract, and before <br />the first partial payment is made, the Contractor shall del iver to <br />the Owner an estimated constructi on progress schedul e inform sati s- <br />factory to the Owner, showing the proposed dates of commencement and <br />completion of each of the various subdivisions of work required under <br />the Contract Documents and the anticipated amount of each monthly <br />payment that will become due the Contractor in accordance with the <br />progress schedul e. The Contractor shall al so furni sh on forms to be <br />supplied by the Owner: (a) a detailed estimate giving a complete <br />breakdown of the contract pri ce and (b) peri odi c i temi zed estimates <br />of work done for the purpose of making partial payments thereon.
