Shaw <br /> <br />March 26, 1987 <br /> <br />Mr. Bryan Hyde <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board <br />1313 Sherman Street <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br /> <br />Dear Bryan; <br /> <br />The purpose of this letter is to request that the Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board designate certain studies prepared by <br />the Federal Emergency Management Agency so as to allow Larimer <br />County to proceed with enforcement of floodplain land use <br />restrictions for the properties affected. <br /> <br />The studies we are requesting designation of at this <br />time are the March 1987 Federal Emergency Management Agency <br />Study which includes portions of the following drainages: <br /> <br />/ <br /> <br />Fall River <br />Big Thompson River <br />Black Canyon Creek <br /> <br />(above Estes Park) <br /> <br />The March 1987 study also includes results of an earlier <br />study of the following drainages in the Fort Collins area: <br /> <br />Boxelder Creek <br />Cooper Slough <br />Dry Creek <br /> <br />with designation of the studies by the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board, Larimer County will proceed to enforce <br />floodplain regulations on these drainages. <br /> <br />Please let me know if you have any questions. <br />Thank you. <br /> <br />l3;;;y~ <br /> <br />Rex A.
