Note that two days from 1965, June 16 and July 19, were <br />included to present benchmarks from the significant 1965 flood <br />seaSDn. These two events are plotted in the following figures but <br />are nDt used in calculating stDrm statistics. It is interesting <br />that while the population density of the Central ColoradD PrDnt <br />Range is quite low, twenty four heavy thunderstorm rainfall <br />events were nDted. It would appear that the occurrence of heavy <br />thunderstorm rainfall during the summer months is nDt a rare <br />event in the Central ColDrado Pront Range above 7500 feet. <br /> <br />Table 3 lists the date Df the rainfall event, the amDunt of <br />rainfall and duration, if given, closest foothills' city, and the <br />estimated elevation Df rainfall occurrence. The elevation <br />estimate was Dbtained by taking the location of the rainfall as <br />
