<br />SPECIFICATIONS, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL FOLLOW THE
<br />APPLICABLE CONSTRUCfION SPECIFICATIONS SET FOR THE BY
<br />THE CDOT IN THE LATEST MANUAL, "STANDARD
<br />SPECIFICATIONS FOR ROAD AND BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION," THE
<br />M & S STANDARDS, AND THE MANUAL OF UNIFORM TRAFFIC
<br />CONTROL DEVICES.
<br />3. ANY DAMAGE TO ANY PRESENT HIGHWAY FACILITIES WILL BE
<br />REPAIRED AT THE CONTRACTOR'S EXPENSE PRIOR TO
<br />CONTINUING OTHER WORK. ANY MUD OR OTHER MATERIAL
<br />TRACKED OR OTHERWISE DEPOSITED ON THE ROADWAYS
<br />SHALL BE REMOVED DAILY OR AS ORDERED BY THE
<br />INSPECTOR. NO STORAGE OF MATERIALS OR EOUIPMENT WILL
<br />BE ALLOWED WITHIN 30 FEET OF THE TRA VELEb WAY. AREAS
<br />OF ROADWAY AND RIGHT-OF-WAY DISTURBED DURING THE
<br />COURSE OF THE PROJECT SHALL BE RESTORED TO INSURE

<br />4. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL SUBMIT A TRAFFIC CONTROL PLAN

<br />CONSTRUCTION SIGNS WHEN NOT IN USE SHALL BE TURNED
<br />A WAY FROM THE TRAFFIC, CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR
<br />MAINTAINING SAFE AND ADEQUATE TRAFFIC CONTROL

<br />THE CONTRACTOR SHALL "POTHOLE" ALL UTILITIES PRIOR TO
<br />BEGINNING THE WORK. THE EXACT HORIZONTAL LOCATION
<br />OF THE UNDERDRAIN MAYBE ADJUSTED SLIGHTLY TO AVOID
<br />CONFLICTS WITH EXISTING UTILITIES. THE LOCATION NEEDS
<br />TO BE APPROVED BY THE TOWN PRIOR TO COMMENCING ANY

<br />THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING ALL

<br />THE PROJECT. THE TOWN/ENGINEER SHALL BE GIVEN 24
<br />HOURS NOTICE THAT SURVEY STAKES HAVE BEEN INSTALLED.
<br />GRADE 60 REINFORCING BARS ARE REQUIRED.
<br />ALL EXPOSED CONCRETE CORNERS SHALL HAVE A 3/4 INCH
<br />CHAMFER UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED.
<br />ALL CEMENT SHALL BE TYPE I/II PORTLAND CEMENT.
<br />SOIL BORING LOGS ARE SHOWN IN TlIE PLANS. THE
<br />INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THE BORE LOGS IS FOR GENERAL
<br />INFORMATION PURPOSES. EACH CONTRACTOR SHOULD
<br />EXAMINE THE SITE SOILS TO DETERMINE THE NATURE OF THE
<br />PROJECT SITE PRIOR TO SUBMITIING A BID,
<br />DISPOSITION OF EXCESS MATERIALS IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF
<br />THE CONTRACTOR, EXCESS EXCAVATED MATERIALS WILL BE
<br />HAULED TO TIlE SPECIFIED AREA BY THE CONTRACfOR AND
<br />STOCKPILED FOR USE ON THE ROOD CONTROL LEVEE.

<br />THE CONTRACTOR SHALL SUBMIT A DEWATERING PLAN PRIOR
<br />TO CONSTRUCTION. PUMPS MAYBE DISCHARGED INTO THE
<br />EXISTING DRAINAGEW A YS, EROSION PROTECTION AT THE
<br />DISCHARGE IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR.
<br />DISCHARGE INTO THE SANITARY SEWAGE SYSTEM IS NOT
