, 2

Along the main chalUlel of Boulder Creek, the maximum increase in the width of the SFHA is
approximately 200 feet and occurred approximately 200 feet upstream of Broadway. The maximum
decrease in the SFHA width along the main chalUlel of Boulder Creek is approximately 300 feet and
occurred approximately 100 feet downstream of 10th Street. The BFEs along Boulder Creek increase a
maximum of 1 foot.. approximately 100 feet upstream of Broadway, and decrease a maximum of
approximately 4.4 feet, approximately 600 feet upstream of 17th Street.

Along Canyon Boulevard Overflow, the maximum increase in the SFHA width is approximately 180 feet
and occurred just downstream of 14th Street. The maximum decrease in the SFHA width is approximately
450 feet and occurred approximately 200 feet downstream of 9th Street. As compared to the effective
Flood Profiles for Boulder Creek, the BFEs along Canyon Boulevard Overflow increased a maximum of
approximately 3 feet, approximately 770 feet upstream of 17th Street, and decreased a maximum of
approximately 3 feet, just downstream of 6th Street.

Along Boulder High School Overflow, the maximum increase in the SFHA width is approximately 110 feet
and occurred just upstream of 16th Street. The maximum decrease in the SFHA width is approximately
200 feet and occurred approximately 100 feet upstream of 15th Street. As compared to the effective Flood
Profiles for Boulder Creek, the BFEs along Boulder High School Overflow decreased along the revised
reach with a maximum decrease of approximately 1 foot.

The modifications are shown on the enclosed annotated copies of FIRM Panel 08013C0395 F, Profile
Panels 045P through 049P and 364P through 368P and the Summary of Discharges Table for Canyon
Boulevard Overflow and Boulder High School Overflow. This LOMR hereby revises this panel of the
effective FIRM dated June 2, 1995, and the Flood Profiles and Sununary of Discharges Table in the FIS
report also dated June 2, 1995. Flood Profiles 364p through 367P for Canyon Boulevard Overflow and
Profile Panel 368P for Boulder High School Overflow were created to present the results of the revised
hydraulic analyses. The enclosed FIRM panel also reflects modifications made to the BFEs along Boulder
Creek from approximately 450 feet downstream to approximately 360 feet upstream of 19th Street to
resolve discrepancies between FIRM Panel 08013C0395 F and Profile Panel 045P.

The following table is a partial listing of existing and modified BFEs:

Location

Existing BFE
(feet)*

Modified BFE
(feet)*

Boulder Creek:
Approximately 350 feet downstream of 17th Street
Approximately 600 feet upstream of 17th Street
Approximately 100 feet upstream of Broadway
Just upstream of 9th Street
Approximately 425 feet upstream of 6th Street

5,317
5,329
. 5,346
5,358
5,377

5.317
5.325
5,347
5,358
5,377

Canyon Boulevard Overflow:
Just downstream of 17th Street
Just downstream of Broadway
Just downstream of 9th Street
Just downstream of 6th Street

None
5,343
5,358
5,371

5,326
5.345
5,358
5,368
