Dear Mr. Tucker:

Enclosed are the Phase B Major Drainageway Planning Study reports
(75 copies) for Hidden Lake and Bates Lake, prepared in accordance with
our contract dated November 22. 1974 with the Urban Drainage and Flood
Control District. The report is submitted in two volumes, Volume I
containing the narrative and Volume II (11" x 18") containing the master
plan drawings.

The recommended drainageway management program is presented in
detail within Chapter V, Conclusions and Recommendations and the Synopsis
of Volume I of this report. The recommended drainageway management and
improvement program will return net benefits to both Adams County and
the City of Arvada for their respective portions of the Hidden Lake
and Bates Lake basins.

We wish to express our appreciation of the cooperation and
assistance received by Hydro-Triad, Ltd. from your staff, in particular,
Mr. Bill DeGroot and the staffs of Adams County and the City of Arvada
during the execution of the study.
