REQUEST FOR COMMENTS

ON FINAL DRAFT PLAN

Dear

Thank you for the enthusiasm, thoughts, and plain hard work you shared at the Vermillion River Basin workshop.
The workshop was a success in large part because of the spirit and commitment you showed during the week. The
draft plan has been reviewed by our technical editor for errors in grammar and spelling. We have not made any
changes to either format or content. As stated during the workshop, we are sending out the enclosed draft for review
by each planning team member. We are looking for a fast turn-around time on this, so we will assume that you like
the draft plan and have no comments if we have not heard from you by August 1.

Please look at the areas of the draft you worked on or have special expertise to contribute to:
. Are there solutions we haven't listed?
. Are the lead agencies and groups appropriate and complete?
. What specific fund sources (or grant programs) should we mention for the
various agencies or organizations in the funding sections of the plan?
. What specific things can we do to make this plan more useful,
accurate and complete?

We need a little more of your time to make this the best planning report we can. Please give the draft another look and
send or fax your comments to me at:
Duane Holmes, Leader
Conservation Assistance Team
Division of Partnerships and Outreach
National Park Service (R1vlR-PPO)
P.O. Box 25287
Denver, CO 80225-0287
FAX (303) 987-6676

Thanks again for all your hard work. It has resulted in a process and plan of which we can all be proud.

[signed] .

.
