Next week'a group of fed- <br />. ' <br />eral, state, and local agencies will be working together in the Vermillion River Basin to develop a comprehensive plan' <br />for the issues and res~urces throughout th~ Basin. The plan will be based on the interests, concerns and desires of the <br />folks who live in the Basin. <br /> <br />in/of recommended you as someone knowledgeable about the Basin and con- <br />cerned about its future. So I wanted to give you a call and encourage you to come to our phl11ning session thiS coming <br />Monday, the 20th to share your ideas and knowledge. <br /> <br />You are invited to attend any or all of the meeting on Monday which will be held at the Parker Public School (at 300 <br />West 2nd Street) with a general introductory session starting at 9:00 A.M. sharp. I particularly want to encourage you to <br />give your ideas to one or more of the planning teams. There will be six plannmg teams meeting on Monday: <br />. Team one: flood loss reduction, road & drainage <br />. Team two: economic development and housing <br />. Team three: fish & wildlife <br /><-. Team four: outdoor recreation <br />. Team five: water quality and erosio? <br />. Team six: historic and cultural resources <br /> <br />- The learns will meet separately from: <br />. 10:30 A.M. to noon <br />. 1:30 P.M. to 3:00 P.M., and <br />. 3:30 P.M. to S:OO P.M. <br /> <br />'" <br /> <br />Can we count on you giving your ideas to one or more of the planning teams?
