Inspections of the subdrain outlet, Montez Ditch, Rito Seco, and "Vega
Ditch" should be performed, at a minimum, annually and after every flood event.

Regular maintenance of the "Vega Ditch" should be performed to ensure proper drainage
of the surface and subsurface waters in that vicinity. The ditch should be kept free of
debris, sediment build-up, and excess vegetation. The existing and proposed subdrain
outlets should be cleared of debris and sediment so that the flap gates operate properly.
The Montez Ditch and Rito Seco should be maintained to maximize their channel
capacities.

13
