June 30~,1977) <br />The final phase of the research \"Ii 11 be devoted to; 1) preparing <br />final reports to the Ute 110untain Tribal Council; 2} dissemating the <br />collected information to the general resel'vation population for their <br />consideration; and 3} providing consulting services to the tribe as an <br />aid in implementing the Development f'lodel they ultimately select. <br />During this period the C.S.U. Research Team will assume a secondary <br />. role to the Ute Nountain Tribal Council and will provide them any con- <br />sulting input they may require, as liell as additional resources at <br />the disposal of the University and required by the Tribal Council. <br />At this point, other C.S.U. specialists in the areas of range livestock, <br />economics, business, outdoor recreation, and Hater resource development <br />will be engaged to provide the ['Iountain Ute people Ilith tile \lidest <br />range of talent available in the Colorado University system. <br /> <br />V. Methodology; <br />The over-all purpose of the research effort is to gather and analyze <br />data to assist Ute tribal leadership in clarifying significant social, <br />cultural, and economic consequences of pursuing major options for tile <br />tribal future.
