Curves designating stage

vs. discharge for the outlet structure and stage vs. storage for the

lake were developed. Flood routed hydrographs through Sloans Lake for

the design storms of 5-, 10-, 25- and 100-year recurrence intervals

were also developed. This study revealed that the peak overflow values

at the outlet structure discharging into Sub-basin A3 for the four

design rainfalls were as follows:

I
I
I
I

WATER SUR- TOTAL SLOANS SLOANS LAKE SLOANS LAKE
STORM FACE FLOOD LAKE FLOOD OUTLET OVERFLOW
FREQUENCY ELEVATION DISCHARGE CAPACITY DISCHARGE
5-year 5309.35 32 32 0
1 O-yea r 5309.79 35 35 0
25-year 5310.04 48 36 12
100-year 5310.43 166 38 128
,~ Sloans Lake overflow e levat ion j 5 5,310 (top of bike path) .

I
I
I

I
I
I
I
I

I

OF

DESIGN

10
