6.0 OTHER STUDIES

An approximate analysis of flooding from Niver Creek and Tributary L of
Niver Creek was completed by the Colorado Water Conservation Board in
August 1985 (Reference 1). This study incorporates data presented in
that analysis.

A Flood Insurance Study was published for the City of Thornton in 1977
and revised in 1982 (Reference 11). Since both detailed and approximate
analyses for Federal Heights end at the corporate limits, there are no
corresponding flood boundaries shown in Thornton.

A Flood Insurance Study was published for the unincorporated areas of
Adams County in 197B (Reference 12). The data presented in this study
agree with the data presented in the Flood Insurance Study for Adams
County.

A Flood Hazard Boundary Map for the City of westminister was published
in 1976 and revised in 1982 (Reference 13). The data as presented in
this study agree with the Flood Razard Boundary Map for the City of
Westminister.

A Flood Insurance Study was prepared for the City of Northglenn, Colorado,
in 19BO (Reference 14). Data presented in this study agree with the
Flood Insurance Study for the City of Northglenn.

A Flood Hazard Boundary Map for the Town of Federal Heights was published
in 1975 (Reference 15). This study for the City of Federal Heights is
authoritative for purposes of the NFIP, and data presented herein super-
sede all previous determinations.
