The Envna Bridge crOSSeS the Roaring Fork R;ver <br />at Ba,all. <br /> <br />Maps and Surveys <br />The topographic mapping for this study was provided by the EagleC cunty <br />Board of Commissioners in cooperation with the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board. The mapping was prepared by Air Pnoto Surveys of Grand Junction, <br />Colorado. The mappingfurnish..d tsat 0 scale of l"_2QO', thccontour <br />interval is2feet. <br /> <br />The flood flow estimates developed in this report for the upper end of the <br />Roaring Fork River ~tudy match the flood flow estimates developed for the <br />lower end of the above mentioned study, when the additional flows from the <br />Fryingpan River are considered. <br /> <br />Flfty-fivedi9ltized cross sections on the Roarln9 Fork and Fryin gpanRivers <br />were ~elected under the supervi~lon of the ColoradO Water Conservation Board. <br />These cros~ sections are shown on the mapping and are desl9nated by Integer <br />numbers. liright-Mdaughl in Engineers supplemented the dlgitized cross ~ections <br />with 9 additional cross sections. These cross sections are shown on the <br />mapping and are designated by decimal numbers. Becauseboththedigltlzed <br />and supplemental Cross sections indicated water surface elevations rather <br />than true channel bottom elevations, the cros~ sections were corrected by <br />field measurement methods. All bridges were also field measured (Ref. II). <br /> <br />The digitized cross sections were compared to the topographic mapping and were <br />field checked.
