General data and photographs for this report were taken during field
reconnaissance of the Spring Creek Drainage llasin on January 15, 16 and 17,
1980. At this time, there was snow cover in the upper pot.tions of the busin,
however, not enough to affect our "n" value analysis.

This report will include photographs and descriptions of various reaches
on Spring Creek. For each"each, a Hannings "n" value is shown for the
left and right overbanks and channel area, along with il general description
of that area.

Photogrilphs of each reach do not necessarily show the entire reach but only
a representative section. The "n" values are based on Ll12 portion of tile
reach shown in Llle photograph. However, whenever cond'itions vary significant'ly
in other parts of the reach, these conditions are noted and "n" values \'/'ill be
properly adjusted in our hydrauliC analysis.
