Base flood <br />elevation lines show the locations of the expected whole-foot water- <br />surface elevations of the base ODD-year) flood. This map is devel- <br />oped in accordance wi th the 1 atest fl ood insurance map prepa rati on <br />guidelines published by Federal Emergency Management Agency. <br /> <br />6.0 OTHER STUDIES <br /> <br />The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, publ ished a detailed study in June 1969 <br />entitled "Floodplain Information, Monte Vista, Colorado."
