The bridge span is 290 feet,
which includes one pier and spill-through abutments, In addition, Ken Pratt Boulevard crosses Dry Creek
No, I (Old Channel) approximately 1,200 feet upstream of the confluence with St. Vrain Creek, The
existing two-celled box culvert (10 feet by 6 feet, 8 inches) under the intersection of Ken Pratt Boulevard
and South Main Street was extended upstream approximately 80 feet, and the intersection grade was raised
approximately 1.5 feet.

We have completed our review of the submitted data and the flood data shown on the effective FIRM and
in the effective FlS report, We have revised the FIRM and FIS report to modify the elevations, floodplain
and floodway boundary delineations, and zone designations of the flood having a I-percent chance of
being equaled or exceeded in any given year (base flood) along the following streams:

. Lefthand Creek from the confluence with St. Vrain Creek to just upstream of South Main Street,
As a result of the modifications, the Base Flood Elevations (BFEs) for Lefthand Creek and the
width of the Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA), the area that would be inundated by the base
flood, increased in some areas and decreased in other areas,

. St. Vrain Creek from approximately 140 feet upstream to just upstream of South Main Street. As
a result of the modifications, the BFEs for St. Vrain Creek increased, and the width of the SFHA
increased in some areas and decreased in other areas,

. ,Dry Creek No, I (Old Channel) from the confluence with St. Vrain Creek to just upstream of
South Main Street. As a result of the modifications, the BFEs and the width of the SFHA for Dry
Creek No, I decreased,

. Shallow flooding areas from just upstream of Ken Pratt Boulevard to just downstream of South
Main Street. Portions of the right overbank area (looking downstream) along St. Vrain Creek
previously designated Zone AE, an SFHA with BFEs determined, were redesignated either
Zone AO (Depth 2) or Zone AO (Depth 3), SFHAs subject to shallow flooding with average depths
of2 feet and 3 feet, respectively,

The modifications are shown on the enclosed annotated copies of FIRM Panels 08013C0286 F,
08013C0287 F, 08013C0288 F, and 08013C0289 F and Profile Panels 119P, 2 lOP, and 263P, This Letter
of Map Revision (LOMR) hereby revises the above-referenced panels of the effective FIRM, all dated
June 2, 1995, and the affected portions of the FIS report dated October 4, 2002

Because this revision request also affects the unincorporated areas of Boulder County, a separate LOMR
for that community was issued on the same date as this LOMR,

The modifications are effective as of the date shown above, The map panels as listed above and as
modified by this letter will be used for all flood insurance policies and renewals issued for your
conununity,
